Peristera Shipwreck

Peristera Wreck (Steni Vala / Peristera Islet)

Located in the channel between Alonissos and the islet of Peristera, this is the site of the famous 5th-century BC “Parthenon of Shipwrecks.”

The Experience: It’s a rare opportunity to “touch” history while swimming in the protected waters of the National Marine Park.

The Action: We position the boat directly above the archaeological site. Equipped with our SUPs and snorkeling gear, you can hover over the ancient cargo of amphorae.
